- Planning for Medical School (PDF) is a free online workshop offered in WebVista that can be completed by students individually at their own pace. UMTC students can register at any time.
Employment and internship opportunities

- GoldPASS is the U of M’s online database to help connect students and alumni with employers, volunteer organizations, and internships across the country.
- Any registered University of Minnesota student interested in biology-related experiential learning is eligible to apply for internship credit (BIOL 3610) for their work.
- Students interested in internship opportunities abroad can get more information from the Learning Abroad Center.
- Consider a domestic or international service program such as Teach for America or the Peace Corps.
